Do anti-wrinkle creams really work?

or are they just overpriced moisturizers?

Is using anti-aging products bad for a young face?

I’m 18, and I live with my mom and uncle, and both are 40+ so all the moisturizers that they have, are anti-aging moisturizers. Is that bad for my face? Will it ruin my face in the long run? Or is it a good idea to start early?

I’m 18-years-old and I was just wondering about this…I don’t like the wrinkles I have on my face now so I try and use moisturizers and creams (usually around my eyes and the "smile" lines around my mouth) to try and lessen them. My friend told me that using anti-wrinkle creams when you’re young makes them not have an effect on you when you get older. Is this true, or is it okay to use anti-wrinkle creams at a young age?

Can anyone recommend a good anti-wrinkle cream?

…you know, the kinds that aren’t just moisturizers but usually also have acids or such to help decrease the wrinkles that are already there.

I’m especially looking for one not very expensive — I don’t want to pay more than about an ounce. (Indeed, I know of great products that are like an ounce but there is just no way I can afford those, no matter how well they work.) I can maybe go as high as an ounce but that’s it.

I also prefer products without sunblock, as I am kind of allergic to the stuff (it usually irritates my skin and my eyes.) I just try to stay out of the sun in general instead.

Does anybody know if there is a proven brand? I know there are a lot of moisturizers that are vegan but I would like something that gives results, maybe something with alpha hydroxy? My eyes have dark bags and circles on bad days, but are just lined on good days, but I’m only 25. I want to try to do something for my eyes.

A basic overview of how your skin ages (ie UV damage, free radicals) and how to prevent premature aging… and why you may be spending too much on moisturizers. Obviously we all will age and wrinkles will develop at some point no matter what we do, but if we take care and protect our skin, this process may be put off a bit longer. if i should what should i use? im talking about stuff like moisturizers. should i use the olay stuff at cvs? will it be too harsh for younger skin?

I’m 25. Not sure if it would be a good investment to buy an expensive lotion or a waste of money. I have a bunch of moisturizers from when I was 22 and paranoid about aging, but its stuff that came from places like Walmart and I havent thrown them away yet……does lotion have a life span? All answers appreciated.

Hello BB’S! Here is the INTRO to my ANTI-Aging series. If you haven’t seen my skincare series of vid’s, 1, 2 and 3, PLEASE watch those first! THIS is the most COMPLEX of all of the skincare vid’s I plan to do. To avoid sounding like a commercial, I wanted to SPEAK a little about the subject, some of the KEY factors/bullet points and THEN list my recommendations for what are the most STATE OF THE ART anti-aging products on the market. There is not just ONE miracle ingredient for the skin or ONE ingredient that is capable of reversing free radical damage, sun damage and the inevitable signs of aging! Here are MY PICS (I do have more) of the products on the market today that have SCIENCE behind their effects and benefits for the skin. Here are some of the BEST! I SUGGEST ANYTHING from this line. PCA SKIN. www.pcaskin.com I can HONESTLY say that EVERY one of their products are well formulated, EFFECTIVE and contain all the things your skin needs to function properly. I use their professional line on my clients (as well as many other brands) and SWEAR by the outcome my clients have had. PCA Skin has products available to the public. Check out their site and their before and after pics! I promise you that they ARE NOT retouched! I SWEAR by their Vitamin C 15% or 20% NO. I am NOT in ANY way affiliated w/ PCA Skin or ANY of the product company’s listed below I speak of Hydroquinone. Hydroquinone has been banned in most countries. This is a VERY controversial ingredient. However

i know its pretty young but I just want to be cautious although Im wondering is it advisable for girls like me (just 21) to use anti aging creams like olay and ponds as nightly cream or should i just stick to regular moisturizers?

So i am only 15, and obviously i know i am not going to start using like heavy duty anti-aging stuff. But should i start using products like moisturizers and cremes that have anti-aging, and anti premature aging ingredients in them? Can you recommend any night cremes or serums?

XOXO JAZZY

I have wrinkles on my forehead and some laugh lines under my eyes and I’m only 22. I don’t use a tanning bed or smoke or anything but I did used to be out in the sun a lot either cutting grass or doing other things. Besides cutting back on my time in the sun what can I do about them? Do moisturizers and anti-wrinkle creams work? I want to prevent further wrinkles. I am using Sauve with Vitamen E now but maybe I should try something more expensive?
