Experiment and see whether you need oil-free products or stuff with the oil. My friend is very dry and can do the Clinique DDM-L (lotion), but I need the “gel” formula that is oil free.
Prescriptives has awesome makeup choices for regular, normal or oil-free. The makeup is about $32 for a 1-ounce bottle. They also color match your skin tone and can custom blend. I would give Prescriptives a shot.
Sephora is another good place to go and ask them what you need. Just don’t be afraid to return a product if it isn’t working for you. Save the receipts and box with UPC code in case.
Glycolic acid peels, hydration and sunscreen will help alot. Try the Alpha Hydroxy line (find at Ulta).
Most cosmetic surgeons have skin spas now and you don’t need to spend a fortune. Just tell them what your budget is.
Don’t let the clerks talk you into buying everything. Buy one or two and then get at least 2 free samples; be firm – it’s your money!

I have a friend that is beautiful and uses Cellex-C serum under her eyes. Pricey but evidently worth it.

None of the wrinkle creams are worth a darn…Many new ones contain ingredients that actually ‘tighten’ the skin. (temporarily.) They last a few hours, and have no lasting effects. There was a ‘fad’ not too long ago, where people would actually apply ‘Preperation H’ to their face for the temporary tightening of the skin. If you want real results, see a Drematologist for laser treatments. Restulin or Zyderm..

Is this supposed to burn when your skin when applied? I am using Neutrogena under eye serum and it burns after a while when I put it on. I am wondering cause my sister used some under eye cream from Aveeno and had the same effect. Anyone else experienced this and is it supposed to do that?

I have wrinkles on my forehead and some laugh lines under my eyes and I’m only 22. I don’t use a tanning bed or smoke or anything but I did used to be out in the sun a lot either cutting grass or doing other things. Besides cutting back on my time in the sun what can I do about them? Do moisturizers and anti-wrinkle creams work? I want to prevent further wrinkles. I am using Sauve with Vitamen E now but maybe I should try something more expensive?

Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the face with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water. For my mom’s 50th I’d like to get her some anti-wrinkle cream or lotion or whatever helps wrinkles. She doesn’t have many cause she said she’s used Oil of Olay since she was 18, but does anyone have any suggestions that actually work for fine lines or whateveR?
