I Am Thinking About Using Intensive Anti-wrinkle Creams On My Face… I’m Only 17; Is This A Good Idea?

I just think that it’s better to start protecting my face now with intensive sunscreen, etc. because I want to make sure that I look nice when I am old (my mother looks 20 years younger than she is, but that’s not the point).
Will I suffer any bad side effects of using things that is supposed to be used for older skin?

You will not suffer any negative side effects by using any anti-wrinkle lotions. I was raised to moisturize my face everyday with a spf since I was 5! Everyone in my family looks way younger than they are and I believe it’s because we stared protecting our skin at early ages. The only thing I would look out for is that you make sure it’s oil- free and nothing too thick. You don’t want to clog your young pores! Good luck!
you probably won’t experience bad side effects, but you’re only 17 and although you’re idea sounds good, I don’t think it’ll do a whole lot for you, as it would an older woman.
Basically, I wouldn’t use the cream. Try to prevent wrinkles by taking care of your skin at an early age, like sun protection, not smoking, etc. Hope this helps.
Listen, girl. People buy this stuff so they’ll look like YOU. YOU don’t need it.
Just stay out of the sun if you’re worried, and put on a cheapo moisturiser before bed.
I actually think the intensive sunscreen is an excellent idea for anyone any age. Be sure to use it consistently everytime you are out in the sun, adding a cap, hat or visor when outdoors is a good idea to. So is avoiding tanning booths when not lathered up with sunscreen. As for anti-wrinkle creams, I don’t know how much damage your skin has endured so far but other things that can help are:
Very little alcohol intake
No smoking
No drug use
***Drinking the minimum 64 oz of fluids and adding a glass of water for every medication you take and for ever hour you are outdoors in the sun. Keeping yourself hydrated on the inside affects the cellular repair of the body from the inside out.
Exfoliating, using a moisturizer and firming cream with occassional massages always helps. Feel free to read other reponses I’ve given today!
Hope this helps! B
no, as long as you use something that doesnt have a lot of harsh chemicals or additives. Technically, as long as you just take care of your skin with a good skin care line, you should be fine. But if you really want to use an anti-aging cream, i would recommend these two because they are botanically based:
ARBONNE re9 eye cream
ARBONNE re9 night cream
There is an entire set that goes with these but it can get expensive. These two work like crazy though. You can pick it up online and have it shipped to you in a matter of a few days at
www. allisonwestbrook. myarbonne. com
They have a 100% money back guarantee if you don’t like it too!
