Girls/women, Are You As Fed Up As Me With All Those Wrinkle Cream Commercials?!!! They Are F****g Everywhere!?
I really think they are unconsciously creating an increased insecurity in women to profit from it afterwards. On MSN I can’t even look at my email without being forced to look at this really idiotic ad for wrinkle products with the picture of a woman aging 60 years in 5 seconds. What the hell?! Some respect please and less superficiality. People are special at any age.

I get irritated by the age of women in these commercials. They look to be about 30 or 35: wrinkle free before they put the cream on! lol
I somehow doubt that women that age (my age group, strangely enough) are really in desperate need of wrinkle repair. I don’t feel old that I am now in their target audience for wrinkle cream. I feel like cosmetic companies are missing the point if they’re trying to appeal to 30 year olds. I still get acne for crying out loud! Wrinkles are the least of my worry.
Ultimately though, maybe I feel more immune to their marketing because my skin care problems are the same as they were ten years ago.
The only thing worse is the one that has a very young Jennifer Garner pushing the garbage! What is wrong with growing old gracefully? All my wrinkles are the lines of my history and if people don’t like it, they don’t have to look at me! Even if the stuff actually worked, who wants a smooth face with a old, wrinkly body? People need to get over their narcissism so that businesses will……
People need to learn to grow old gracefully. But that would put these companies out of business.
Also consider that they airbrush the pictures< So no one will ever look like what the product promises.
I don’t pay any attention to them. I am not so shallow as to worry about a few wrinkles.
yes
Yes, they bug me too. The women in the ads are always in their 30′s, it seems. Are we all supposed to look like teenagers forever? How bizzare. Older women should be proud to NOT be a teenager anymore- they have grown in wisdom and maturity. Besides, growing older sure beats the alternative!
Then there are non for men because men are considered “wise” with age and that’s alright. Ya, I have been fed up with that and every other thing targeted at women. The one that really bothers me is the breast enhancement ones. At least we are not targeted for p*rn adds.
They really ought to take a look at Betty Friedan’s The Fountain of Age before they try to profit off of women’s midlife crises.
I disagree, I think they are *consciously* creating an increased insecurity in women to profit from it afterwards. People aren’t stupid when it comes to making money.
