There are two kinds. The moisturisers which you have to start using in your teens. Keeping the skin moist slows down the wrinkles appearing in middle age.
The second kind are skin tighteners which only have very short term effects. People use them when they already have wrinkles. They tighten the skin until the effect wears off.

Apparently any cream containing Vitamin C and a sunblock is the only thing that worlks. Stopping smoking helps a loty as well and I know ’cause I’m 45 and don’t look a day over………er…….45.
