There are a large variety of facial creams as I have always had dry skin I have used a variety. They all help to some lesser or greater extent. I like that swiss one alot. Also I use many with antioxidants vitamins A E C and D or coco butter or Shea butter works good.
I saw something the other day on TV (in between dozing off a bit) and I think they were making a comment on Shanaya Twain and her beautiful complexion. She uses, of all things, Bag Balm… That stuff in a green tin, and swears by it.
How a person ages is genetic. I am of Irish descent and have the type of skin that wrinkles if you look at it wrong. I personally like Oil of Olay, Utterly Smooth, and Vitamin E Oil. Some people have beautiful skin and never appear to age. Look at the movie stars… with all their money, some of them even age horribly no matter how much they spend. That is why they invest so much into plastic surgery.
As for a good cream… whatever works and does not make your skin break out is the secret. Skin cream is as unique as the individual.
Expensive, but the Obagi products are fantastic. They are however, prescription products, but you can buy them on line. HTH : )
Try Mary Kay products….I know…I know. It is a little expensive but here is why I recommend it and as I wade through my mid thirties on toward forty they are becoming a staple on my counter.
I was 17 and a good friend of mine’s mother was in her late 60′s. She had spent many years working outdoors and her face was dry, wrinkles everywhere and it made her look much over 80 to be truthful. Then she attended a party for them and decided to give it a try. I went away for 4 weeks traveling over the summer and just hadn’t seen her for another 3-4 weeks after I got home. SO now 2 months later we meet for lunch and WOW I could hardly believe how fabulous she looked. Of course my first thought was face lift, etc. I did ask eventually over coffee and she smiled, then laughed and said is it that big of a difference? I said yes and she told me she had been using Mary Kay’s product line religiously since she went to that party at the beginning of summer.
To say she lost 30 years off her face would be a accurate statement. Now she did become a rep selling the stuff and I went to meetings heard the story and about what the products do and I’m a die hard believer. In my 20′s I had one or two I used occasionally- now facing 40 my own lines and age are showing slightly and I’ve made contact with a local woman to get in the game of staying as young as I feel.
Please contact an agent for Mary Kay- you can search for one near you on MaryKay.com. They can setup a ‘makeover’ party for you and a few friends which is fun. Or you can opt for a one on one consultation, most are cosmologist as well and can show you how to apply the products and give you expertise and what should work best for you. No Charge for anything unless you choose to buy some products. It is not overnight results but 2 months made me a loyal customer for fighting agelines forever.
The best one I have heard of is Strivectin-D. Although it is quite expensive.
You can get it at Health stores and some large pharmacies, and of course on
line. It runs around $100-$125 a bottle, but I understand it is great. Personally, I am a little hesitant to spend that much.
L’OREAL… makes a great cream called.. Revitalift complete. It really works and it is light and not oily. It is the best I have found. You can purchase it at most retail or drug stores, like Walmart or CVS.
My mom uses this product that’s made of mud from the bottom of the Dead Sea. It works wonders on her face.
I got a free sample of one of the Oil of Olay products & I thought it worked really well, but of course now I don’t know which one it was & they seem to have a dozen & they are too expensive for me to try on a whim.
Go sign up for BlissGirl. They sell a lot of expensive stuff but they give you nice samples to try their products. I can’t think if there’s another one I know of that you can request a sample of anything you like to try too.
